A delicious syrup made from plum juice and plum pulp. It is high in fruit content. It is great for preparing hot and cold, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
PLEASE NOTE: The label on this product is in German. The content is however identical with the Czech market version and its ingredients also do not differ.
Description
What you may have not known about plums
The ancestors of today’s plum very likely originate from Kavkaz or Mesopotamia and they were brought to Europe by the Romans. Karel IV. used to like them and therefore had them grown abundantly. Nobility had plum alleys planted along the roads in the 16th century and so the passers-by had very easy access to delicious refreshments. There used to be four times more plum trees than apple trees back then. Their typical blue almost dark purple colour is so unique that it has its place in the colour pallet as the “plum” colour. Plums are so popular that they often appear in idioms such as “speaking with a plum in one’s mouth” or “like a ripe plum”. No wonder that a prize or a reward can also be referred to as a plum.
Instructions for use: To prepare home-made drinks, dilute the syrup 1:10 preferably with fine water; for a hot drink, dilute 1:8.
Ingredients: sugar, plum concentrate (12%), plum pulp (6%), acidity regulator: citric acid, aroma, preservative: potassium sorbate, carrot and black currant concentrate.
Store in a cool and dark place. Fruit extracts may settle, any cloudiness or foaming is not a concern as it highlights the naturalness of the product. Shake well before use. Refrigerate after opening and use within 30 days. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
Nutritional information: 100ml contains: energy 1411 kJ / 332 kcal, fats < 0,5 g (of which saturates < 0,1 g), carbohydrate 83 g (of which sugars 82 g), protein < 0,5 g, salt < 0,01 g.
Recycle our bottles. You can dispose of them as they are in a coloured glass bin. According to the glassworks it is not necessary to remove the paper label nor the cap. They can handle the packaging with ease.
